Brief Description
Cricket bat, unsealed, spliced blade with black rubber grip covering twine binding on handle. Front features maker's stamped impression, reads, "WISDEN'S / LONDON / APPOINTED / PATENT EXCELLER / Wisden's / EXCELLER". Shield shaped label below has bat care instructions. Reverse stamped impression reads, "WISDEN'S / PATENT / 'EXCELLER' / MADE IN ENGLAND / SUPERIOR".
