Brief Description
Cricket bat, varnished, with spliced blade and black rubber handle. Front features stamped impression of the maker's details. It reads, in part, "WM SYKES LTD / LONDON / AND / HORBURY. / ROY KILNER...". Players' signatures below. Reverse has heavy impression that reads William Sykes. Handwritten inscription upside-down near toe reads, in part, "PRESENTED TO / FRANK SCHOFIELD / who along with KENNETH HARTLEY...".
