Brief Description
Presentation cricket ball made from dark leather. The front of the ball has a gold inscription, reads, "PRESENTED / BY THE M.C.C / TO / W. BRUCE / FOR HIS / EXCELLENT BOWLING / AGAINST / SOUTH MELBOURNE / CRICKET CLUB / 17TH MARCH 1883.". Ball consists of four panels with six rows of twine stitching around the centre.
