Brief Description
Large free standing plaque, consisting of a rectangular metal plaque attached to rectangular wooden base. Front of plaque features a raised representation of a 'liver bird' (symbol of the city of Liverpool) in front of an engraved montage featuring images of iconic figures and moments relating to the Liverpool Football Club. Text in raised lettering at the bottom of the front of plaque gives a brief history of Liverpool Football Club. Small label plaque attached to wooden base in engraved and reads 'MELBOURNE VICTORY v LIVERPOOL/WEDNESDAY 24TH JULY 2013/MELBOURNE CRICKET GROUND'. Label engraved at top left hand corner of reverse of plaque gives details about the commissioning of the plaque.
