Brief Description
Set of three glass decanters on silver plated metal stand. Base of the stand is engraved 'Victorian Cyclists Union Amateur Championship Race Meeting/ M.C.C. GROUND, JULY 1st 1884/ one mile single Tricycle Race 1st Prize Won by R.J. Parker'. The front two decanters have the same hexagonal shaped stopper, whereas the back decanter has a round shaped stopper. Three circular metal bands for containing the decanters are attached to the stand base. The bands join at the centre of the stand and radiate upwards to form a central vertical rod topped with a circular ring for lifting and moving the decanter set. There are three small circular feet on the underside of the stand. Underside of stand is hallmarked.
