Brief Description
Copy photograph of the first All-England Eleven (known as Stephenson's Eleven) that toured Australia in 1862. The photograph features fifteen men standing in a row, most wearing cricket whites and some carrying bats and balls. The team's captain, H H Stephenson, sits in the centre of the group wearing batting pads. The names of the players appear beneath the image.
