Brief Description
Sepia photograph mounted on yellow card showing a group portrait of the Australian cricket team, eleven players dressed in whites and striped caps, and two men wearing suits. They are posing outdoors in front of a hedge with a statue of a lion in the centre. A stone and glass greenhouse is on the left. A handwritten inscription in pencil, below the photograph on the mount reads, "Australian Cricketers 1882". The name of the photographer is printed in red ink along the right side of the mount, and on the reverse, "O. Sarony / Imperial Portrait / Scarborough".
