Brief Description
Negative, group photograph of the Australian cricket team on tour in England, 1890. The picture was taken on the steps of the pavilion at Stoke on Trent, where Australia played Staffordshire on the 3rd and 4th July. Fourteen men are posing for the photograph, with others in the background. The cricketers are all dressed in whites and ten of them wear blazers and caps which have the Australian crest.
