The obverse has a full-length colour image of Jack Cashman (Fitzroy) wearing a short-sleeved maroon guernsey, shown front on, kicking a football. Printed on the reverse of the card is the issue number (47), the footballer's name, club, a brief biography, a "Safety Council Warning", and an advert for Hoadley's Chocolates.
