Brief Description
Circular silver medallion. Front of medallion bears a raised representation of the Australian coat of arms, with a pair of crossed cricket bats and a ball superimposed over the lower section of the arms. The numbers '19' and '30' featured directly below the coat of arms on the left and right sides of the blades of the crossed cricket bats respectively, representing the year 1930. Raised text above and below central image reads "AUSTRALIAN/ ELEVEN", with a decorative branch motif at the start and end of each word. Reverse of the medal is inscribed and reads "PRESENTED TO/THE MEMBERS OF THE/AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN/IN COMMEMORATION OF/THE RECOVERT OF/THE ASHES, 1930./BY GENERAL MOTORS/(AUSTRALIA) PTY. LIMITED./S.J.McCABE."
