Brief Description
Wooden squash racket with leather grip. Lower half of racket head and top section of handle originally covered in a layer of white laminate, but the laminate is faded and flaking in places. There are small red bands around the frame of the racket at the edges of the laminated section and on either side of the join between racket head and handle. A manufacturer's logo which reads 'MAXPLY/DUNLOP' is printed on the white laminate on the front of the racket below the racket head. A label printed onto both sides of wooden racket shaft reads 'Genuine/CANE/HANDLE'. Text printed on red material at the base of the racket handle reads 'WHEN NOT IN USE/PLEASE/KEEP IN A PRESS'. The word 'Dunlop' is printed in red on the white laminate on the reverse of the racket below the racket head, above a decorative black, red and white logo.
