Brief Description
Commemorative brass plaque attached to a wooden base. Plaque is engraved with the Melbourne Cricket Club logo in white at the top, followed by the text 'MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB/BASEBALL SECTION/A MEMENTO OF THE/1952 3RD IX PREMIERSHIP'. Below this text is listed the names of the players who participated in the premiership, top to bottom and left to right as follows: 'J.BARAGWANATH L.MILLIS (CAPT.)/D.BYRNE C.MILLER/T.CRAVEN D.MOORE/R.FIGGIS R.MILNE/C.FILDIS W.PONSFORD/D.HANSFORD K.POCKNEE/D.HOWELL F.WILKINSON/K.McMILLAN (SCR.) B.WARDROP'. Below the players' names the office holders of the team are named, as follows: 'CHAIRMAN G.BELFRAGE/SECRETARY L.MILLIS'. Plaque is attached to wooden base in each corner. Base has been painted in brown and gold paint. Metal hook attached to reverse of base for hanging.
