Brief Description
Small artist's study of a larger artwork. Painting in acrylic features a team of eleven cricketers walking out onto the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in front of the Member's Pavilion. Handwriting in black marker on the reverse of object reads, "Study for Melbourne Cricket Club / 'Team of the Century'". Reverse is also signed and dated by the artist, and lists his postal address in black marker. Wire attached to reverse for hanging.
