Brief Description
Circular bronze coloured metal medallion in plastic case. Face of medal carries a design featuring four triangles, an oval, two crossed crickets bats and a cricket ball, as well as the text 'VICTORIAN CRICKETERS ASSOCIATION 1877'. Reverse of medal carries inscription which reads 'This Medallion/presented/by the/Victorian Cricket Association/To participants in the centenary/Australia v. England Test/at/Melbourne Cricket Ground/March 1977/is engraved with the design of the medal/given by the/Victorian Cricketers' Association/to the/Colonial Players/in the/First Test on the Same Ground/in March 1877'. Top of case carries a circular logo in the centre consisting of a representation of a trophy with the word 'PARAMOUNT' featured down the vertical length of the trophy, above the text 'MEDALLIONS/BY/K.G.LUKE PTY LTD'. Writing of bottom of case reads 'CASECRAFT/CAT.NO 102'.
