Brief Description
News clipping and engraving relating to the Australian cricket team's 1880 tour to England. Clipping is entitled 'THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM' and features a summary of the tour and a brief discussion of the subject of the engraving, which is the final game of the tour at the Crystal Palace. Engraving features a series of illustrations showing scenes from the final match as well as circular portraits of a number of players. Title under image reads 'THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETING TEAM - NOTES AT THE FINAL MATCH AT THE CRYSTAL PALACE'. Handwriting beneath images reads 'GRAPHIC 9/10/1880'.
