Brief Description
Colour etching of a group of children playing on a village green. Children are depicted participating in a variety of activities, including skipping, badminton, cricket, chasing a hoop, playing tag, sitting at a table, holding hands in a circle, and flying a kite. Children are wearing a variety of bright colours. There is a table and a large tree in the foreground to the right, and village houses and a church steeple are visible in the background. Title under image reads 'THE VILLAGE GREEN.'. handwriting on reverse of image reads 'By Fred Robinson/1847'.
