Brief Description
Painting of the crowd gathering outside the MCG in preparation for a game of football. Painting depicts a mingling crowd of Geelong and St Kilda supporters. A record seller is visible in the middle background. Ticket windows and the base of one of the light towers can be seen in the background. In right foreground, a Geelong supporter checks his phone accompanied by a friend, with a bag and flag at their feet. Artist's signature in bottom right hand corner on front. Handwriting on linen at top of frame on right of reverse reads '"Nightgame at the MCG" Susan Sutton OIL'. Business card of artist attached to top of middle strut of timber frame on reverse. Sticker for Kardinia Picture Framing & Geelong Laminating Services stuck to bottom of middle strut of frame on reverse. Wire attached to reverse for hanging.
