Brief Description
Melbourne Cricket Club Membership Medallion from 1939/40 season. Square-shaped medallion features white enamelled background with red enamelled scrolls reading 'MELBOURNE', 'CRICKET CLUB'. Blue enamelled centre includes MCC monogram and dates 1939-40. Brass back features Membership Number 45, Full Member, and reads 'NOT / TRANSFERABLE / COLE BENTLEY & SON'. Sticky tape repaired maroon lanyard attached. Issued to M.C.C. Member Paul Smyth.
