Brief Description
Melbourne Cricket Club Membership Medallion from 1937/38 season. Upside-down rounded-triangle shaped medallion features red enamelled centre with gold MCC monogram and 'CENTENARY' written above. Blue enamelled scrolls on top, left outer rim and right outer rim that read 'MELBOURNE', 'CRICKET', 'CLUB 1937-38'. White enamelled details on top and bottom of medallion. Brass reverse features Membership Number 2650, Full Member, and reads 'NOT / TRANSFERABLE / K.C. LUKE. / MELB.' Sticky tape repaired maroon lanyard attached. Issued to M.C.C. Member Paul Smyth.
