Brief Description
Melbourne Cricket Club medallion from 1949/50 season. Upside down teardrop shaped medallion features blue enamelled outer rim that reads MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB with red and white enamel MCC monogram in shape of a shield in centre with diagonal red line through the middle and dates to either side. Brass back features Membership Number 4556, Full Member, and reads 'SEASON ENDS / 31st AUG '50 / NOT / TRANSFERABLE / K. G. LUKE / MELB.' Red lanyard attached.
