Brief Description
White dress. Dress has a yoke to chest-level on the front, then has an A-line design. The reverse is one piece. Front of the dress has repeated white satin appliquéd figures representing the zodiac sign, Sagittarius. The figure is that of a centaur shooting a bow. These figures appear on the left of the yoke and chest section, and continue down the front right hand side of the body of the dress. The figures get larger as they approach the bottom hem. Reverse of dress is plain. Tag attached to inside of dress beneath right arm reads 'teddy tinling/london/made in England' and carries two Tinling flower motifs. Fastened by metal zipper on left hand side. Zip is in the shape of a tennis racquet, with the letters 't t' on racquet face and the word 'NEWEY' on reverse. Small button studs attached beneath shoulders.
