Brief Description
Cotton judo gi, consisting of top (uwagi) and pants (shitabaki). Left chest of top bears a square patch featuring the Australian coat of arms and the words 'EAST ASIAN GAMES/OSAKA 2001'. Stripes of green and yellow fabric are sewn to each shoulder. Manufacturer's logo (Mizuno) sewn in white cotton on the outer side of stripes on left shoulder. Back of top is undecorated. Manufacturer's tag sewn to inside of top beneath collar. Small tag attached to inner side of collar bears the number '3.5' and a Japanese character. Pants are fastened by drawstring at waist. Front of pants are undecorated. Reverse of pants embroidered with manufacturer's logo (Mizuno) in white cotton on upper right thigh. Reverse of pants has a single belt loop. Small tag sewn beneath the belt loop bears the number '3' and a Japanese character.
