Brief Description
Printed certificate. Certificate bears the Australian Olympic logo printed in gold at the top, followed by the text: 'In recognition and appreciation for your/ contribution to the success of the/2001 AUSTRALIAN TEAM/at the/3rd EAST ASIAN GAMES/OSAKA JAPAN/19-27 May 2001/The Woolmark Company'. The certificate is signed by John Devitt, Chef De Mission of the 2001 Australian team, and is dated 17 May 2001. Certificate is in a card mount, which is enclosed by a decorative wooden frame. Reverse of frame bears a number of plastic hooks for holding the backing board in place. String attached to metal loops on the reverse of frame for hanging. There are two spare metal loops attached to the back of the frame to allow the frame to be hung in the opposite direction.
