Brief Description
Gold coloured coat with capelet. Coat is size 12. Fastened by two layers of five metal stud buttons at the front, and two stud buttons on each cuff. Coat has two hip pockets, both fastened by metal studs. Large yellow patch with a green border attached to right sleeve, which reads 'AUSTRALIA' in green lettering. Three yellow seven pointed stars with a green border are attached to the left sleeve. Capelet is attached to the collar of the coat by two stud buttons, and attaches beneath the arms using a strip of fabric and two stud buttons on each side. A yellow seven pointed star is attached to the front left shoulder of the capelet by a dressmaking pin. A split has been sewn into the back of the coat, running up the centre of the coat from the hem. Made in Australia by manufacturing company Geoff Riddell.
