Brief Description
Outfit consists of a jacket, a waistcoat, and a scarf. Jacket is black with a black polyester lining. Jacket is fastened by three buttons at the front, and two on each cuff. There are two false pockets at the hip, and a pocket above the left chest. Embroidered on the chest pocket in brown and silver thread is the Basketball Australia logo, featuring a kangaroo superimposed over a basketball and the words 'BASKETBALL/AUSTRALIA'. Below the logo the word 'OPALS' is embroidered in brown thread. Three cardboard tags are attached to the left cuff of the jacket, one of which is a Woolmark tag discussing the virtues of Merino wool. There is also a standard swing tag which bears handwritten measurements for the garment, and a Geoff Riddell manufacturer's tag which gives size and style information. The Geoff Riddell tag is also hand-labelled with the name 'Suzy Batkovic'. Jacket has been designed with a split rising from the hem of the jacket partway up the middle of the back. Made in Australia. Waistcoat is black with black polyester lining. Waistcoat is fastened by six plastic buttons at the front. Waistcoat has two false hip pockets. Left chest of waistcoat bears an embroidered Basketball Australia logo, featuring a kangaroo superimposed over a basketball and the words 'BASKETBALL/AUSTRALIA'. Below the logo the word 'OPALS' is embroidered in brown thread. Two cardboard tags are attached beneath the right armpit of the waistcoat, one of which is a Woolmark tag discussing the virtues of Merino wool. The other tag is a Geoff Riddell manufacturer's tag which gives size and style information and which is hand-labelled with the name 'Suzy Batkovic'. Back of waistcoat features two buttons and a small loop of material on either side, which can be used to adjust the waistcoat. Back of waistcoat carries six dressmaking pins along the centre of the waistcoat, indicating where the waistcoat needs adjusting. Scarf is made of silk and polyester and is brown toned with a repeated black floral pattern.
