Certificate in white card mount, inside a metal and glass frame. Certificate is white and black. White section of certificate carries a watermark of the Melbourne Cricket Club logo and also bears a solid representation of the Melbourne Cricket Club logo at the top. Text on white section of certificate reads 'This is to certify that/Ron Casey/has been inducted into the/MCG Media Hall of Fame/for an outstanding contribution to/the coverage of Cricket and Football/at the Melbourne Cricket Ground'. Beneath this text, the certificate is signed by the President of the MCC, Bruce Church, and the Secretary of the MCC, John Lill. Below the signatures is printed the date 'May 4, 1999'. The black section of the certificate on the right hand side bears a heading in white text which extends down the length of the certificate, perpendicular to the rest of the text, which reads 'MCG MEDIA HALL OF FAME'. Right hand side of the certificate also features a picture of a batsman playing a shot, above a picture of AFL footballer Wayne Carey taking a mark. Frame is made of silver coloured metal. There is a metal wire for hanging on the reverse of the certificate. Reverse of certificate also bears a sticker which reads 'TWITES/ART PICTURE FRAMING' and gives business details, as well as the handwritten number '8516C'.
