Brief Description
Photocopy of a page from an MCC Scorebook, 1850-1855. Scorecard shows the results from a match between Victoria and Tasmania, played at the MCC's South Bank ground on March 29 and 30, 1852. This was the first Intercolonial match to be played in Victoria, with the home side winning by 61 runs. Tom Hamilton, a future MCC president and long serving trustee, top scored with 42 in each innings. Armand Powlett, one of the club's founders, made 37 and took five wickets.
