Brief Description
Hatband from Frank Laver's uniform for the Australian cricket team tour of England in 1909. The green, ribbed hatband with two gold stripes, features a highly embroidered coat-of-arms, and scrolls below with lettering, "ADVANCE AUSTRALIA", and date, "1909". Originally fastened to a hat by metal pins - still attached, one at each end of the band.
