Brief Description
Colour photograph mounted in a navy blue frame with white mount board. Photograph depicts Carlton Football Club player Justin Madden (right) wearing a Carlton uniform styled in heritage style of an older Carlton Football Club's uniform - laced jerkin with stylised crest and hooped socks. Madden is holding a mouth guard in his right hand. On the left is an Australian football umpire (also in heritage clothing, white shirt and pants with blue red and white socks and a place flat cap and holding a whistle in his right hand. The crowd can be seen out of focus in the background, as well as the logo for 'Optus' phone company. On the reverse are two black felt circles in the bottom corners and a wire for hanging. There is also a label fixed to the back containing the details for 'Recherche' specialty framers and the conditions under which the picture was framed. The condition, "10 year conservation - / (all techniques reversible, all materials benign" has been checked.
