Brief Description

The face of the medal depicts three iconic buildings of Melbourne - the Arts Centre spire, Flinders St Station, and a Melbourne tram - behind the logo for the World Masters Games with the imprinted text, "2002 / WORLD / MASTERS / GAMES / MELBOURNE". The blue ribbon the medal is suspended from also features this logo in repetition, embroided in yellow thread. Beneath the medal is a small metal bronze coloured plaque that reads, "In appreciation of your valued contribution to the / MELBOURNE 2002 WORLD MASTERS GAMES".
