Brief Description
Black and white photograph with a thin white border and caption. Image is of tennis player Gertrude Moran wearing a white shirt and shorts. Moran is holding a racquet in her right hand and is moving forwards to the left side of the photograph, with her right arm stretched forward to hit a tennis ball (seen at the top of the image). Several spectators can be seen in the background.

The caption at the base of the photograph reads, "THE LONG REACH AND POWERFUL DRIVE IN / THIS PICTURE BELONG [sic] TO GERTRUDE "GORGEOUS / GUSSIE" MORAN, WHOSE TENNIS ENSEMBLES / CREATE A STIR AT CONSERVATIVE WIMBLEDON / WHENEVER SHE PLAYS IN ENGLAND."
