Brief Description
Melbourne Cricket Club full membership medallion for the 1982-83 season, shaped like an upside-down pentagon, medallion number (F)10974, with red rope-cord threaded through hole in top. Obverse features red, blue, white and gold enamel decoration on the gold-coloured metal base: at top is featured the medallion number in white enamel on gold background, and beneath, divided into three sections, are the MCC logo in gold lettering on a white background; to the right of this is a large gold letter "F" on a red background; and in the blue diamond beneath are the years 82-83 in gold. Inscription embossed on reverse reads, "NOT / TRANSFERABLE / SEASON ENDS / 31ST. AUG. 1983". Manufacturer not detailed.
