Brief Description
Reproduction of a page from a newspaper, including a report of an Intercolonial cricket match between Victorian and Tasmanian sides at Southbank (former ground of the MCC) in Melbourne in 1852. This match was a return match, following the MCC/Victorian side's visit to Tasmania in 1851. The report is from the Melbourne Morning Herald, 31 Mar 1852. The report gives the scorecards from the game and a long report of "THE GRAND CRICKET MATCH" between Victoria and Tasmania. Report is mounted on white card.
