Brief Description
Reproduction of a page from a newspaper, featuring a newspaper report of the MCC's trip to Tasmania (or Van Diemen's Land) for an Intercolonial cricket match in Launceston. The MCC organised a Victorian side for the match. The report is from the Melbourne Morning Herald, 22 Feb 1851. The report gives the scorecards from the game and a long report of "THE GRAND CRICKET MATCH" between Victoria and Tasmania. Report is mounted on white card.
