Brief Description
Mounted, sepia toned reproduction photograph of the MCC Australian XI in England in 1886. Photo shows 16 figures, some standing and some sitting, in front of a stone wall and building. Photo was taken at Surrey. The fifth Australian team to England was organised and financed by the MCC. It was managed by the club's secretary, Ben Wardill, and the team wore the MCC's red, white and blue blazers and caps.
