Object Detail

Brief Description
Round metal MCC membership medallion, embossed in the centre with Club emblem, and surrounded by the inscription, "MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB", and the years, "1945 / 1946", at either side of the coin. Inscription embossed at top and bottom of reverse reads, "NOT / TRANSFERABLE / SEASON ENDS / AUG. 31ST. 1946". In centre is debossed a membership number, "C 756". The hallmark is embossed in minute print at bottom of medallion, "K.G. LUKE MELB". Hole at top with suspension ring attached.
