Object Detail

Brief Description
Circular, pierced, gilt metal MCC membership medallion, the obverse featuring blue, red and white enamelling and gold lettering. Inscription on twisting red scroll in top half reads, "MELBOURNE / CRICKET CLUB", below which is emblazoned the MCC emblem on a blue background, and the years 1930 - 31 embossed on white at bottom. The number 1438 has been debossed on the reverse, above which is debossed text, "COUNTRY", with the hallmark, "BENTLEY", appearing at bottom. Hole at top with suspension ring attached.
