Brief Description
Octagonal, pierced metal MCC membership medallion, the obverse featuring blue, red and white enamelling, gilt decoration and gold lettering. Inscription on blue ring inside white border, reads, "MELBOURNE CRICKET CLUB / 1928-29"; the centre featuring a red shield design emblazoned with the MCC emblem. The number 3256 has been vertically debossed on the reverse, with the hallmark, "C. BENTLEY" appearing at bottom. Hole at top with suspension ring attached.
