Brief Description
Victorian Rowing Association centenary medal in box awarded to Ray Todd. Medal is gold coloured and circular. Front of medal bears a Victorian rowing coat of arms featuring the Southern Cross on a shield, with the word 'VICTORIA' and a pair of crossed oars below the shield. Maker's mark below the oars. Encircling text reads 'Victorian Rowing Association Centenary/ 1876-1976'. Obverse of medal is inscribed 'Ray Todd'. Edge of medal is inscribed '86'. Box is plastic, covered in vinyl and contains a plastic and velvet medal holder with ribbon and cloth lining. Text printed on cloth lining on inside lid reads 'STOKES (A/ASIA) LIMITED/MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA/ESTB. 1856'. Box and medal stored in cardboard sleeve with the number '86' written on it.
