Brief Description
Gold coloured commemorative medal awarded to Ray Todd. The front of the medal features the established design of the British Empire and Commonwealth Games - an Imperial crown surrounded by an unbroken chain of links; the year '1962'; and text that reads 'VII BRITISH EMPIRE/AND/COMMONWEALTH/GAMES/PERTH/WESTERN/AUSTRALIA'. Encircling text reads 'COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL'. Obverse of medal bears two examples of flora and a coat of arms, which features two swans on either side of a shield and the world 'FLOREAT' below the shield. Medal is inscribed 'K.O LUKE. MELB' below the coat of arms.
