Brief Description
Gold coloured watch awarded to Ray Todd. Front of watch bears large engraved letters "RTB". Top of watch bears winding mechanism and ring for attaching watch to chain, as well as a small button next to the winding mechanism. Left side of watch bears a small flat clasp. Obverse of watch opens to reveal engraved panel which is inscribed "W.R.C./Season 1924-25/Won by/W.R.B. Todd/Double Maiden Sculls/"Junior"/3 Senior Pairs/1 Senior Eight/1 Champion" ". Inside obverse of watch bears maker's mark. Engraved panel inside watch lifts up to reveal clockwork wheel and another panel inscribed "G. & I. Young. Dunedin & Timaru". This panel is also inscribed with the number "17999."
