Brief Description
Champion Eight of Victoria medal awarded to rower Ray Todd. Medal is bronze coloured and circular with a decorative hook attached to the top of the medal. Front of medal bears an inset engraved scene of an eight man scull rowing on a body of water with hills in the background. Encircling text on front reads "CHAMPION EIGHT OF VICTORIA - 1924". Obverse of medal is inscribed, "Presented/To/R.TODD,(No.7)/as a token of esteem/from/F.URE-TAYLOR/"Auntie" ". Encircling text on obverse reads "WENDOUREE ROWING CLUB" and bears maker's mark.
