Object Detail

Brief Description
Pierced metal MCC membership medallion, the obverse featuring blue, red, gold and white enamelling. Inscription in gold on blue enamel at top reads, "1923 / 1924"; on red and white scroll in lower half is further text, reads, "MELBOURNE / CRICKET / CLUB", and on white central shield is emblazoned the MCC emblem in gold. The number 973 has been debossed on the reverse, with the hallmark "C. BENTLEY" appearing at bottom. Hole at top with suspension ring attached.
