Brief Description
Silver coloured medal awarded to William Todd by the National Rifle Association at Bisley. Front of medal bears an archer and rifleman design, which is a symbol of the National Rifle Association. Front of medal is inscribed "1300 1500" to the left of the archer figure, and "1860" to the right of the rifleman figure. Front of medal also inscribed "SIT PERPETUUM" below the two figures. Obverse of medal bears a wreath design and is inscribed "THE NATIONAL/RIFLE/ASSOCIATION/1860.". Fastening ring for attaching medal to cord attached to edge of the medal. Edge of medal inscribed "WON BY LCE COPRL W (text obscured by fastening ring) D - 1897 - 254 POINTS -".
