Brief Description
Small black and white photograph, taken of the Australian XI while sailing to South Africa on tour in 1935-36. Taken by Moira Dowling (nee Sullivan), who was a passenger on the ship. This photograph features a group of people, five men and one women seated on steps, during a stop in Adelaide. Handwritten inscription on reverse reads: "This was a group taken in / Adelaide on a tour up to / Mount Lofty. The party ' were strangers to me - but / nevertheless we had a good / time. You see I was just a member of a tourist car - / However the __ __ __ to / __ we __ __"
