Brief Description
Small black and white photograph, taken of the Australian XI while sailing to South Africa on tour in 1935-36. Taken by Moira Dowling (nee Sullivan), who was a passenger on the ship. This photograph features a man sitting on the ships railing. Signed on front by Bill Brown. Handwritten inscription on reverse reads: "The rose is __/ in case you've __ / __ the good profile / the hair is fair and / curly. He carries a / brown leather hardcase / around - maybe for / samples - maybe for / writing conveniences. / Who is he?". Written in red pen below inscription, "Bill Brown / (Aust Test __)."
