Brief Description
Rifle used by William Todd. Rifle has a metal trigger mechanism and a metal barrel, supported by a wooden barrel casing and a wooden shoulder butt. Rifle has a sliding metal gauge on top, possibly for judging range, which is inscribed on the right hand side '100 200 300 400' in equal increments. Right side of metal trigger section bears the number '6683'. Left side of metal trigger section bears maker's mark 'W & S'.
