Brief Description
Silver medal awarded to Maureen Caird for running second in the 100m Hurdle at the 1970 Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh. Maureen Caird, born in 1951, was the youngest Olympic track and field winner when she won gold in the 80m hurdles event at the 1968 Mexico Olympics at age 19 yarns and 17 days. Medal housed in original box.
