Brief Description
Long narrow piece of off-white paper with text printed in black above and below circular gold-coloured foil covered chocolate. Back of paper is printed with gold-coloured fluid pattern. The paper document in this issue is still folded and sealed by a circular gold sticker. Based on an opened issue (2000.3677.2), the inscription printed on the inside would read, in part: 'Hilton/On the Park-Melbourne/Congratulations/On a winning position at the "Official Hotel for the/2000 Olympic Games Football Tournament -/Melbourne" during the month of September./...'. These chocolate gold medals were presented to each Olympic football player staying at the Hilton Hotel in Melbourne, which hosted many of the Olympic Football matches of the 2000 Sydney Games, at the M.C.G.
