Brief Description
Gold medal awarded to George Harry Coleman, Senior Eights (No. 5), Hawthorn Rowing Club. Small gold-coloured circular medal with small linked loop at top. Obverse features raised lettering around circumference MELBOURNE AMATEUR REGATTA ESTAB. 1903. Ornate shield in centre with animal on top [Melbourne coat of arms]. Reverse has GRAND CHALLENGE CUP/PRIZE MEDAL around circumference, with trophy cup in centre. Medal has engraving around rim H.R.C. 1928 G.H. Coleman (5)
